History
The first traces of history in the brush manufacture of this private family firm can be dated from the first half of 40’s years when the then 15-year old Zdenek Vala had been taken on an apprentice in the small brushmanufacturing firm in Kyjov, owned by Mr. Snajder. Here he gained his first experience and within four years he learned the brush making know-how. After leaving Mr. Snajder he got the licence and set up his own firm in Holic. During a relatively short period of time he achieved his first succes on the market and together with his first employees he built up the firm.
However his succes was unacceptable for the local communist party and during the year 1957 his company was nationalized and his activity was prohibited.
Ten years later he was offered work in the brush workshop owned by „ The municipal services of Holic“ . As the leader of the workshop he built up a succesful firm which distributed products to the wholesalers Karteko, Rempo and Drogerie. During this succesfull time the firm employd about 50 people among them also his son Zdenek Vala jr. By the end of the seventies the family moved to Uh.Hradiste and after a few years of commuting to Holic they decided to set up a brush workshop in Hradiste. This workshop
was part of the activity of „The municipal services of Uh.Hradiste“. Here in Hradiste Mr. Vala together with his son succesfully built up the firm which during a short period replaced on the market the firm from Holic.
In 1991 it was decided to privatize the workshop and with this started the new history of the private brush company of Mr.Vala. Since that time the company has invested a lot into new machinery and has focussed its production on flat paintbrushes, ceilling brushes, brooms made of wooden body and several other brushes ( street brushes, doormats) .
The succes of the firm is based on its many years of experience , its personal resposibility and adherence to a high level of quality.
